Shaping to be a good series. Rarely would these two come together with the Kiwis ranked higher that Aus. Hopefully Boult will be right to play all three tests.

Boult with the pink ball should stop Warner pretty quickly.

Play in the Sheffield Shield match between Victoria and WA was abandoned today to to a dangerous pitch. Strong doubt was expressed about the being any play on any of the other 3 days of the match.

Victoria often play home games at the Junction Oval (St Kilda) these days, but this one was back at the MCG.

Just as a test match will be less than 3 weeks time...

Australia said to be unchanged. CDG should be back for NZ, and Boult might return too. If unfit, Ferguson will win his first cap.

This is at the new Perth ground.

The NZ bowlers should make it much harder for the Australian bats.

we'll see, sooner rather than later - Aus win the toss, and will bat.

DN in Perth.

With the time time difference i can actually watch most of this with out loosing to much sleep.

NZ will be happy with what they have done so far, they should be expecting to cause some problems under lights this evening. Burns and Australia still seem to have problems when it comes to reviewing.

Going to take some getting used to with the new stadium. Fremantle doctor not going to play its part anymore. 40 degrees as well.

Ferguson going for plenty on his debut. Aussies well on top here. Labuschagne is the new Voges.

NZ really need something to happen underlights here.

2nd new ball might cause some problems.

Marnus is having one hell of a summer at present.

and with Ferguson going off for an MRI on his calf, it is looking a bit worrying for NZ in the bowling stocks department.

A real test for Wagner to justify his bowling ranking.

Hopefully SABML will throw it away now that three figures are up.
