De Kock 79 not out
Bavuma 27 not out

South Africa win by nine wickets and tie the series 1-1.

Bavuma has adapted reasonably well to this format. A 40-odd in the first match.

This is the next Test series coming up. Do SA have much chance? I'd guess their batting won't be good enough.

Philander had a good all round performance and Maharaj took some wickets.

India win the toss and obviously opted to bat first as is the norm here more often t than not.

Pant being discarded is a crazy decision although Saha is a better keeper than him. Rohit Sharma gets a chance as test opener. Although a similar decision with regards to his change his batting position in LOI changed his career, I am skeptical about this working in his favor in test. His technique against swing will be brutally exposed in swing conditions. Might score run sin India though where the ball hardly swings for few overs.

India have started well at 45/0. No bounce at all for pacers. No wonder that even SA are going in with just two pacers. Both teams have read the wicket well.

Rohit this time challenges the long on fielder to hitit a six. His second against Dane in two overs. Risky but he connected well to avoid the fielder easily.

4 and that's first fifty for Rohit as opener in test cricket. He has looked in total control against the spinners today. Well played. :clap
