Hamish finally goes. 55 off 83. SA on for no more than 250 here. They should do better than that, but if you double the likely 30 over score, that's what you get.

Only 49 overs a side of course.

Groundsman says the pitch was poorly prepared because of the recent heavy rain. So hard to know what will be a par score. Maybe SA are going ok.

Five ball duck for Phehlukwayo in the death overs? Mysterious.

A six for vd Dussen. I thought my screen had frozen. No one was scoring any runs.

242 to get after another vd Dussen maximum. Have to feel the NZ bowlers have done a great job, but time will tell. A drop by Ferguson in the penultimate over might have cost NZ ten runs.

53 off the last five, so a minor charge at the end.

Guardian points out NZ have yet to concede 250 in this WC.

Does a win here give SA a realistic chance, or just make it more likely that Ban can overtake NZ?
Sports broadcasting media nut miscast as a hard-working family man. Or should that be the other way around?
