Weakest link in the ODI team, yet you have Nasser Hussain championing Jordan Archer to be selected for possible World Cup inclusion despite England having plenty of seam options.

Congratulations to the West Indies.

As an aside, I get really miffed when batsmen leave the field in a temper after being dismissed. Is there no grace left in the game anymore?

He seems to be completely gone as a batsman and looks the weak link in the bowling at present

But I definitely want 2 spinners in the side and not sure who else there is

An average of 26 batting at seven in an ODI is good providing the SR is good. The SR is crucial.

And Mo is the only regular bowler who isn't a wicket taker but he is the most economical. He could be doing better, but I think he's not a weak link.

Curious though as he's a wicket taker in Tests, but expensive.

Sounds a good game.

All said and done it was quite tight innthe end.

If Stokes had stuck around would have been very different.

if stokes hadn't thrown away England's review on a straight forward nick to the keeper, things might have been different. He'd reviewed one earlier and he reviewed it immediately because he knew he hadn't touched the ball, but this time he clearly didn't know if he'd touched it or not, so he went and asked Buttler before reviewing.

If you aren't certain that you haven't touched the ball in a caught dismissal, then don't review it. Soon after, England lost a player to a shocking lbw decision.... missing everything by a mile..... and had to take it on the chin.

Yep, silly by Stokes. Great performances by Hetmyer and Cotterell. It's amazing the difference in this WI ODI team now that Hope has improved and they also have Hetmyer and Bravo has returned. When they last toured England I recall them having the likes of Kyle Hope, Kieran Powell and Jason Mohammed who didn't look like convincing international players.
A man convinced against his will is a man of the same opinion still.

Stokes is a liability when it comes to using reviews, pressurised Root into taking one for a caught behind in the 1st test and there was daylight between bat and ball. Someone in the England team needs to tell Stokes to rein it in when he's behaves like a leader without authority.

No Roy either.

The press asked about discard Harry Gurney as apparently he did well in the BBL.
