But they have actually been decent at home. Drew vs Pak in 2011, thrashed NZ in 2012, lost a close series to them in 2014 and then the draw against England. Australia and India have crushed them but other than that, they actually haven't been THAT bad at home. They have won at least one home test every year since 2011 (except 2013 when they were no Tests). Winning a Test vs England was significant but in retrospect, maybe not THAT significant? Whereas this is their first away Test win in almost a DECADE! (South Africa at PE in 2007). Not sure about a turning point but this is mostly definitely a very significant moment. Their home series vs Pak now looks really interesting next year. Worth noting they have been pretty competitive throughout this series and not just in this Test. Scored 300+ in the fourth innings in the first 2 Tests (well, nearly 300 in the 4th innings of the first Test anyway). And they are playing a team that was ranked #1 not too long ago and they had been whitewashed in their preferred formats prior to this series. If Misbah retires as seems almost guaranteed after the Australia tour, its definitely not gonna be too easy for Pak in WI next year.

Good points Shanky.

Well done West Indies, and wonderful feat from Kraigg.
