Though, Australia have been bowled out for 60 (in 18 overs) in the last year on a greentop.

Weird commentary. After saying the batting was loose and the batters were driving too much at wide balls after the cascade of wickets, the commentator suggested Watling might have been better going after the bowling more...

BJ got a good ball.

New Zealand were clearly hoping to win the toss and bowl - I was worried when I saw they'd been sent in. All caught behind - has there been a lot of movement, or wafts at wide ones?

The only downside for Australia is that Bird hasn't looked particularly threatening - he's gone for 5 an over despite the clatter of wickets. So much for horses for courses, at least so far.

Looks like Australia will be batting before tea.

Bird has conceded runs everytime he's come on.

Most of the wickets have been wafts. Mostly lack of discipline, some provoked by a build up of pressure. Mostly NZ were unwilling to give the first session to the bowlers.

Another fifty though and NZ might feel they've got away with it a little.

Lyon is back.

Bed is calling, but an interesting phase of play. Anderson goes. Oh dear.

and now that he's is gone it is worth hanging around to see if they bring back the speedsters to Boult. See if Boult can invent a few more stylish shots.

The reverse flamingo over cow corner is a classic (modern day one).

Tim didn't hold me up much.

Long handle being employed now, so we won't be long. It'll be interesting to see what the Aussies are when I wake up. I'm guessing 150-2.

I don't mind if you are right, AC, but I think Aus won't quite that well.
