wasn't he known has unlucky pankaj, was a bit unlucky bowled well in his debut, Dropped catches, decision going against him/india although I believe DRS wouldn't make a difference was more umpire call I think.

Stat alert. Cook goes past Gavaskar to be the most capped opener ever, tomorrow. Steely has already opened more than anyone else though, in terms of innings.

He's also one fine innings, or two decent ones (117 runs) from becoming England's first member of the 10,000 run club - something that was on the cards since his debut as a 21 year old in India ten years ago .

Just woken up. A quick glance at Cricinfo suggests Bairstow missed a tough chance off Moeen to Hamish.

It was between first and second slip, more toward first slip, but JB pushed it out of Cook's range. I guess you'd say that given he went for it, he had to get it. He does seem to have limited grabbing range on the off side.
