Kula should be batting in the top 5 in this form.

This is ridiculous! Imagine if an associate played as badly as Sri Lanka have this series...

Hard to think what can be more embarrassing than being bowled out for 117 in less than 30 overs, untill Guptil settled the game in 3 overs.

Latham robs Guptill of his ton with that single, and a probable record.

What's the ODI equivalent of Bannerman's record?

Guptill scored 93 out of 118. 79%!

Yes. Reminds me a bit of England v SL in, I think, 2006. But worse.

Viv's famous innings at Old Trafford in 1984 was 189/272, which is 70%, but that's over 55 overs, so perhaps more remarkable.

According to cricinfo, fastest team score to 50 and 100. Guptill got the most runs ever in the first ten overs (even though the innings didn't last ten overs!), which is incredible, given the Gilchrists and the Jayasuriyas.

Didn't know this was on last night. Not sure SL turned up either.

I wonder if SL put up a better fight tonight.

Quiet first 3 overs from NZ tonight, but they've got going now - 25 off the last 13 balls.

No changes from SL despite the last 2 performances, would have thought they'd give Thisara Perera a go - he can't do much worse and is certainly a useful all-rounder.

Forgot about this. KW and Southee are back. Sodhi and the captain are out.
