Taylor's in danger of running out of partners. It looks as if the final first innings scores will be very close. Astoundingly, with over 1100 runs scored we're still only just into day 4. Plenty of time for either side to take victory here. It's probably a little harder for Australia as they won't necessarily have time to bat to a comfortable score and declare, but they could easily have a lead of 350 by the end of the day.

New Zealand need to make the running in this test. Aus CAN be satisfied with a draw - as this will retain the Chappell/Hadlee Trophy - the Aus team's ego may well be their most dangerous enemy.

He's getting it in singles. Now has equalled the record score by any foreigner in Australia.
