I have an NZ win as the favoured (as in more likely) outcome atm. With Khawaja's injury, Aus are virtually 3 down and still behind.

This should be putting your mind at rest. Maybe time for Craig to have a bowl.

Been away for a few day.

Came back to this score card. What a great fight back by NZ :clap

Can only see 2 results in this test match though. Draw or NZ win now. Aus lower order has not had much batting of late, and after these 2 i don't have much confidence in in the rest to make enough runs to save the match.

Pitch still looks like a road though, and that is not good for test cricket.

I wonder if Smith will be brave enough to set NZ 300 in 2 sessions.

On this pitch i hope not, but neutrals would like to see that.

Smith makes another hundred at 3, and his first ton in the second innings as well. :salute

Can Voges get 100 before end of play

Looks like a nailed on draw now, unless New Zealand collapse. Australia don't have time to set New Zealand a big enough target to bowl them out on this road. Given that they're already 1-0 up, you would expect that they won't set an aggressive declaration.

How does Voges have an average of 66 after 9 test matches, when 5 of those test matches were the Ashes when he was cr@p?

100 in WI and a 100 at the WACA

The hundred in WI was not out, as this is at present. Very small sample size that is giving the warped average

The aussies could bat till lunch, get a 300 run lead then maybe have a 10 over smash, giving them 50 odd overs at the Kiwi's. The sensible thing to do would be to bat out the day and take the draw, but history suggests the Aussies won't be that boring.

193 run lead with 8 wickets left.

Usman will bat if needed. I reckon Aus will probably bat till they get 300+ lead and then put NZ in. I can see that happening with an over or 2 before lunch.

Its such a road of a pitch though. All innings have gone at over 4 an over. Not sure Aus would want to leave 60 overs with 300 to get. Very realistic chance on that on this track

A 350 lead with 50 0vers left will more than likely take the kiwi's out of the game. This would be my plan.
