That is one of life's great mysteries - at international level he can't bat and he can't bowl

I disagree - no depth to the Ind batting so a couple of quick wickets and we won't make 350 ... wicket looks flat so SL could rack up 500 and then we're in trouble

or am i just becoming a pessimist

Not too bad at lunch. 386/8. As you say, it depends how SL bat but as we saw in the last test, even a poor score by SL in the first innings will hold no guarantees that India will win.

India 393 all out, Saha with a half-century, and Herath will a four-fer....

Now, how will SL bat?

he's been a bit off the boil since the WC but always dangerous to bet against Sanga

Kashaul out for 51...now it's up to Thirimanne and Mubarak to provide support for Chandimal and Mathews.

pretty even really at the end of the day - SL still have some decent batters so we can't relax at all
