Without Sanga, this batting line up looks so weak...Tharanga is back, Mubarak has finally been dropped, Chandimal is there as a batsman, and Kusal takes the gloves.

Good to see Chet back in the runs. The SL seamers don't have much of a reputation, but one of them usually manages to make a contribution.

Couple of batting positions shifted in this innings. Chet needed this knock to recover some form. Hope we play well than today on remaining days.

Chet carried his bat through the innings for 145 not out - terrific to see him back in the test side and that should make it difficult for them to drop him now :clap

SL in a real mess at 47/5 - if Ind can run through the SL lower order then hopefully the day of play that was lost so far won't stop a result

disappointing that it's Binny who has 2 of the 5 wickets so far as that will just give the selectors more reason to keep him in the side and tbh I just don't see him as being anywhere near the quality of a test cricketer
