Well, there goes all of the positivity this new England side had built up.

rested, I think

could be wrong

England appear to be losing atm. Last 2 bat, and only the bowlers to come. They ought to hang around long for Aus to blow them away in the PP's

I don't even know when the PP's are any more...... It has been so long since I saw an ODI

what a shock , bopara takes a single off the first ball of the over again and exposes finn to the strike

what a selfish, meaningless innings he has played today, just trying to avoid getting out and protect his average

And Finn is not as good as Bhuv/Swann/Starc. Once he can do that but if he is doing that every time then he must review his tactics in batting with proper tail enders.
Havin watched him in past in few T20 matches, i think he has scored at SR over 200 in some matches. So surprised why he did not try for four or six with tailender at other end. Or was that think tanks instructions to try to bat out as many overs as possible and get match practice. :hmmm

There's a trivia question for years to come: who scored 95 runs and took 4(5?) runs in 2015?

Hopefully Faulkner's side strain is very minor.

Nice to see England making Australia work hard for their win, at least

I'm feeling very excited atm

Loving this brand of attacking cricket

I'd go as far to suggest that England are progressing really, really, well

Realistically England getting to the semi-finals would be a huge achievement. At present I would say England have the foundations for a competitive ODI side, we're simply not in the same league as the top sides out there.

The infuriating thing is, had we had this side at the start of last year then there would have been time to build and develop. The bloody mindedness of the ECB to refuse to act until the last minute scuppered our chances.
