Taylor's had a good twelve months, but hasn't looked on top of his game in these series v SL. Maybe he's trying something out. It'd be nice if he could score some runs before the WC.

Dan would fit in OK in the NZ commentary box.

I've always imagined he's a bit of a superbrain, maybe because of the glasses. I'm expecting him to go to CERN when he retires.

Taylor out. Oh no.

cracking partnership here between ronchi and Elliot , NZ were in trouble and not that much batting after this

Yes, astonishing scoring rate. Maybe indicative of the practice game status all these ODIs have at the moment. Senanayake going for a few.

yeah partnerships like that are happening with increasing regularity these days , still very impressive especially considering NZ could have been looking 150 all out

solid start by SL in reply but required rate is already well above 8 per over with still 35 overs left , tough to sustain that sort of rate for that long in a chase

no DRS tonight due to technical issues and been a dodgy decision right at the start against SL

good score by NZ , they will be happy to see taylor get a big score even if he and Williamson fell just short of their hundreds

chase following a similar pattern as last game atm with a solid opening partnership but the run rate starting to creep up , not quite as big a target tho

looks like I jinxed SL , both openers fall within the space of 5 deliveries :hide

big 2 at the crease now

very comfortable win for NZ

they will be going into the WC with a lot of confidence, especially if taylor can start backing up McCullum and Williamson at the top
