Williamson's on!

He's not throwing.

He's not going to take many bowling this though.

Well done Karunaratne. First Test ton. Needs to stay in against the new ball.

Nice to see the Kiwis congratulating him.

Poor shot and a great catch from BJ. Neesham doing what you need from your occasional bowler. Fluking a wicket.

SL nearly back in profit but I can't see them getting a lead of more than 100.

Warm and overcast in Wellington. With a green pitch. Tim has passed his fitness test.

Bracewell is back for the perennially unfortunate Wagner. Herath in for SL

Good toss for SL to win, if only to stop NZ bowling.

Considering Southee had to have a late fitness test, and him and Boult had to bowl 99 overs last week, im surprised Mathews didn't try and exploit it.

Mathews seems to rate them pretty highly though.

On commentary they said the grass on the pitch is 15mm (5/8") long, that sounds unbelievable to me. I would have thought that's more the length of grass on the outfield.
Work expands to fill the time available, so why do today what can be put off until tomorrow.

hadn't looked like there was a lot happening off the pitch despite the grassy look but first wicket goes down

tight to being a no ball as well

Nice ball for the wicket.

Pitch looks green, but doesn't seem to shooting all over the place. I like Latham, but that wasn't the best peice of batting.
