Well done India. Shocker for Pakistan in the last ten overs.

16 runs to defend, two wickets taken and still the bowler bowls one of the worst overs possible.

the batsmen only managed to score 10 of the 16 runs needed and still got there thanks to chaos in the field

Many teams , especially South Africa and Australia will be happy that India has ended left arm spinners (Nawaaz's) T20i game chance this cup. ;)

Stunning from Kohli today :clap

Great start for India but there must be some concerns as well

Pak will take some positives from that performance as well, especially as it's not often that both Babar and Rizwan fail

Agree on both counts. The respective clashes with SA will of course be vital. Way too early to make any call on this group : the narrow result means NRR not a factor if needed later. And at present the SA/Zimbabwe game is under heavy threat from the weather so who knows how the points will be as we move on...rather suspect there may be a wash out or two which could be very significant.

Certainly was a fantastic game , to fittingly reward the huge crowd - and a relief the fickle Melbourne weather didn't mess this one up !

Had to happen at some point ... Rain 2 points : SA and Zimbabwe 1 each

Hope there aren't too many other games wrecked by La Nina & co...

Gutting for SA, you have to feel sorry for them as that point could be crucial in the end.

Aussies should win from here, but no formality. Hosts not really dominating.
