If these two last until lunch....!

They are Englands best bats, and Taylor showed in the first innings he is more than capable.

Big ask, but Englands still in it. Though it will be close, and Stokes might well have to bat :scared

Adil (genuine all rounder) Rashid and Samit Patel are batting two places lower than normal.

Those at the crease or to come in have displayed application with the bat at some point in the series. England's 1st innings alone Cook has batted for 142 mins, Bairstow 165, Taylor 226, Patel 103, Rashid 68 mins. It's a case of bat like the 1st innings and England can win this.

I think I'll have to get up for the start tomorrow. Otherwise we could have half the side gone after an hour.

I don't know whether to give it a chest-thumping "Come on Lads, Let's Get 'Em" or a running away "It's All Over...We Don't Have A Prayer".

Forsee another day of hope being built up before we lose valiantly again.

We'll give it our all before succumbing meekly to the spin of Shah.

Maybe Anderson didn't fancy it. The rest are all batters.

Not the rat that deserted the sinking ship at least.

Pretty unpleasant comment that by Willis on Swann.

The NZvAus game runs straight into it. Probably watch the first session of that, then the PakvEng after lunch.
