Virat - 101
Shreyas - 77
Sir Jadeja - 5/33.

8 wins in 8 matches. Already a record for India for consecutive wins in ODI WC. If we win the last one against Netherlands 9 out of 9 would likely be a very tough record to break in future for next generation Indian teams.
Test FL's - 8 , ODI and Tests Combo FL's - 1, ODI World Cup - 1, ODI FL's - 7, ODI and T20i combo FL's - 1 ,
T20 Franchisee FL's - 7, T20i Cup FL's- 1, T20 FL's- 5 , 50 Overs Domestic FL's - 1, 40 Overs Domestic FL's- 1

from the Seffers' viewpoint, you'd hope this is the one bad game they have - ah, but they have already lost the the Netherlands.

So, it looks likely to be a South Africa/Australia semi, with India to play New Zealand or Pakistan - or maybe even Afghanistan.

Afghanistan have both Aus and SA to play. I don't fancy their chances of winning both.

Matthews comes out with a faulty strap for his helmet, sends back for a replacement strap. Shakib appeals, and Matthews is timed out!

I'd have rejected the appeal if I were the umpires. What a load of nonsense..... are we suggesting Mathews should have faced up to bat with a helmet that was broken and potentially dangerous? Sets a really idiotic precedent for the game. I don't care about the timed out rule, he got out there and then noticed a problem... no batter should be forced to play if their safety is potentially compromised, we lost an international batsman to a helmet hit recently.....

I hope SL win..... very, very disappointed with BD

What a ridiculous appeal. He was there and ready to face and had an equipment issue.. Very unimpressed with Bangladesh for upholding that one.

The commentators are going on about how he could have faced the first ball without a helmet because it was only a spinner then sorted it out, but I'm sure it never even crossed his mind that Bangladesh would appeal. Besides, what difference does it make if he fixes it before or after one delivery is bowled? It's the same delay.

Utter madness.

Tbf if the ICC cared about player safety, the game itself probably wouldn't have started. Schools are closed in Delhi because of mega high air pollution, and the government is advising against outdoor activities, but the ICC deemed it safe to play a cricket game?

I don't blame Shakib for his appeal. It's within the laws of cricket.

If the laws of cricket run counter to safety concerns, then the law is an ass, and needs to be changed. More leeway needs to be given to umpires to add and substract due to time being lost.

As it stands, fielding sides are unfairly penalised for time lost, in this case, through no fault of Bangladesh. The umpires should be given the opportunity to add time on at the end of the innings for delays caused due to safety concerns.

Surely, safety matters more than TV schedules?

The law is there I guess but surely not what it was designed for ? Pretty shabby way to get a wicket , I reckon, But in modern cricket it seems to be increasingly acceptable to take any advantage you can find...

Reckon Sri Lanka have enough runs anyway.
