Well done, Mendis....
:clap
Kusal has just shown that if you apply yourself, you can score runs on this pitch.

Well done to Kusal Mendis on his first Test ton.

Another 200 for SL and we've got a game?

Looking at the wucjets that fell it doesn't look like a minefield

There is a bit of turn but it isn't ragging square like the india vs south africa pitches did

Sri Lankas left arm leggie looked decent

Paper? What's that?

Just kidding.

The current score is the lead sports item on the ABC webpage, channel 9, Fairfax media webpages, second on channel 7 and no-where to been seen on Channel 10. It's buried about 5th on the Murdoch rags. There is coverage, but that's probably because there's not much else on at the moment. Tomorrow evening, expect it to be buried under an avalanche of Aussie Rules and rugby items.

and mine is a Fairfax paper.

Do you really go to all of these websites, or was it an exercise to see?

Yes, there is (some) coverage, but nothing like the blanket coverage of footy (choose your city, choose your code).

Just an exercise. Your response made me curious. I usually just go to ABC.

Big ton for Mendis - Sri Lanka have a small but growing lead. This match isn't over yet.

I would have SL as favorites now.

Seems like a great innings by Mendis, his score really stands out on the score card.

Well done Lyon on 200 test wickets :salute

O'Keefes injury is a real blow for Australia in this game and possibly the series.

been a very good pitch well done to the groundsman.
Very hard type of pitch to produce as well not much leeway in the preparation, in my opinion more pitches should be like this in the subcontinent would help the teams play abroad as well since they are used to the pace and bounce of the pitch and not dependent on the slow, low bounce wickets to score runs and the games are a better spectacle for the fans/spectators.

in the first 2-3 days should be something for the bowlers in the wickets and scoring 500 plus should not be the norm.
Should be a challenge to score 400 in the first innings.

Smith I think

He actually bowled quite a good over shortly before they went off

Is zampa not in the squad?
