Same dr Robert the whole speak English things been taken out of context.
Warner hasn't even been banned for the sledge but for speaking to the batsman/player outside overs, which is a new rule probably brought in after Anderson/Jadeja gate and few other incidents in the recent test series against Australia.

If anything Warner Sledge is probably the best one far better than just swearing, I would be saying the same thing if a player that can speak english speaks another language to me.

Interesting Rohit sharma is a slower opener than Cook.

crap article imo

his volume of runs more than makes up for a slow start

I wouldn't have cared if cook's strike-rate stayed below 80 if he had been scoring the volume of runs to provide a foundation for others

I just don't understand why so many of these players are so angry all the time at work. If you don't like your work change professions.

Brett Lee may have said the odd thing now and then, not that I ever heard one, but surely he must have. Bret always had a smile on his face though. :salute

They're are slowly eliminating the grunting and the screaming in womens tennis, and if these blokes can't get their act together in cricket then perhaps they need to simply eliminate any chat.

It would make it rather dull without it at first, but I'm sure in time we would get use to it.

Looks like there's a week long thunderstorm in Brisbane. Worth getting up?

I was wondering that - have taken a look at the forecast for Brisbane and decided no.

It's not good for the tournament - If Aus beat aus and Ind again, then it basically comes down to a one game shoot-out between Eng and Ind for the other spot in the final. Also, Ind could really do with some games, someone like Axar needs a few games

looks a good toss to win pitch.
So much rain, humidity, the ball should do plenty in the first 20-30 overs.

Although not sure I agree with Charles Dagnell tweet that it is a good toss to lose since it should move all day.
Chasing a low total is far much easier than setting a total especially if the ball doing plenty in the first 20-30 overs.

I always think England are better chasing anyway as I never think we judge conditions very well to gauge what a good score is

Rayudu replaces Rohit Sharma.
Ashwin out and Binny replaces him.

Jordan out due to illness and Anderson replaces him.
Finn got one more chance to grab the 4th bowling spot which is between Jordan and Tredwell.
