Rashid the first spinner to get his hands on the ball in this innings. Not sure that's happened often. Getting a long bowl too.

Rahane looks like he needs a score, not been great so far this series.

England spinners have no ability to bowl economically and this is a time to apply pressure by denying the batsmen easy runs. India will end up with a 400+ lead but make them use a lot of overs to get them. Wickets are fine provided they are not costing a pile of runs. Stokes is also an expensive bowler.
Work expands to fill the time available, so why do today what can be put off until tomorrow.

298. This in itself is a competitive score for day 4 and 5 with 3 spinners. 7 wickets still left. One small partnership required to take this to 350 and this will be a sure win. Well played.

Ash says there are only few balls which are spinning. There is not much spin on offer.

Having watched the last half hour of today's play, the uneven bounce will be a major trouble in last two days. Jaddu bowling wicket to wicket at his pace and if he gets the uneven bounce it is going to be very very tough.

Why is there a tendency for English fans not to rate players that don't do well against england.
Apparently some think rahane and vijay are *modded* and India got a poor batting line up
