Decent recovery, but the light about to take effect.

Bonus runs from Crawley.

Scorecard looks precarious, despite the recovery.

Aussies not going that way though. Five pace bowlers.

Oh FFS. This pitch has done very little since the first ten. Duckett got a legitimate excellent delivery. The rest of the wickets have been careless. As usual.

400+ should be the minimum here. You can bet Australia won't throw away starts the way England have.

England know Starc is tough to face in these conditions while the other bowlers have offered no threat. See him off. But no, they have to throw the bat at it.

England well under par. Unless it really is a lottery under lights.

KP tribute bat Harry Brook's dismissal to a loose shot meets with internet dismay. But imagine the reaction if the real KP was out like that!

Internet says Starc now has most Test wickets for a left arm pace bowler.

at least England get a very decent opportunity at the evening pink ball - in a decent position, softened ball, Root a great chance to break that century-in-Aus duck.

If Australia had been bowling quicker, they'd get up to 10 overs at England with the brand new pink ball under the lights.

Partnership going at 2 rpo. Is this the strategy for the nocturnal play?

Just can't capitalise on a good position, can they?

Haven't passed 300 in Australia since Boxing Day 2017 and Cook's epic.

A very nice bit of fielding by Inglis. That will be replayed quite a lot.
Aus really needed it.
