Hussain thinks they'll bat on, I think they will too, especially now they're short of the magic half a thou!

I reckon they'll bat for an hour unless the forecast looks dodgy.

Only one over left now.

I haven't got a clue how they work it out these days.

basically they play till 7 and then with slow over rates they can play till 7.30.
basically I believe the umpires give enough overs to be played till 7 but because of the slow overrates it normally goes to 7.30.
think today they had too many stoppages and had one before the cut off so they didn't actually have to bowl too many overs when their came out again so didn't really need the extra time to finish the overs.

heatwave should be over now, believe the cold front and low pressure is around manchester and the north.

A) Cook fancies getting some easy runs on a flat pitch and boosting his own career stats.

B) Cook realizes that he actually only has 3 front line bowlers, 1 all rounder, and a batsman who bats at 8 who is not the spinner Cook thought he was. So the front line bowlers need a rest.

C) Cook has taken a bribe from old trafford to make sure the game goes into a 5th day.

D) Cook actually thought it was the right thing to do as his bowlers need a rest and the weather has been wrong before. And haven't teams won from following on before. Sadly this is the most likely.....

I think it's a combination of all of the above except the bribes, maybe.
Work expands to fill the time available, so why do today what can be put off until tomorrow.
