i kinda agree, ali, stokes and bairstow have been really strong tho but we cant rely on them to keep saving us if they dont get a platform from the top 4

Really that jadeja over is why india scored too many in the first innings and how poor the spinner were hardly bowled in the same spot or in the same area consistently especially on a pitch that did have variable bounce and some turn on day 1.
highly doubt india would get 450 if they faced the indian bowlers on here.

was really good in the under 19 world cup against good spinners as well on slow turning tracks.
Even in county cricket he was known for his ability to play spin.
his confidence must be shot if he playing Reverse Sweeps and sweeps against spin.

true but he was playing spin so well in the under 19 world cup against decent opposition.
Really think his technique or confidence changed since then, not really sure how or why duckett got a big game between bat and pad.
doesn't look the same player that scored so many runs in the under 19 world cup in UAE.
in the under 19 tournament he played straight very nicely to the spin and hardly looked in trouble by the spinners.
