Bairstow got a bit too cute then...he's cross with himself ; wanted to make another mark , given how hard it is to kep a spot in this lineup. Played well again though , while it lasted.

Now the slightly altered last five will have the task of seeing this over 300. Which they should do , though it won't be 440.
Not sure they'll get as many as the previous lineup might have done ; but it will probably be enough for the 5-0

And that's what happens when Dawson goes after one early in his innings. He was doing his normal early innings run-a-ball, very-few-dots, job fine until then.

Thanks for everything Pothas. You'll be missed. My nickname for you was apt and I will never forget it. For the last time, arise Sir Nic.

Look like getting bowled out now. 274/8

Three hundred tops I think. Guess Boycott will be mumbling in his rhubarb plot ...

For someone who opens the batting domestically, Willey has done very little internationally. Maybe a case of batting too far down and the mindset that brings.

Commentators on the radio are now complaining that they are cautiously making sure they don't get bowled out...

However they got there, 300 is plenty of runs to hand to the bowlers, particularly as there is some spin. Maybe 5+1 isn't looking a good bowling balance though.

Just back from Sri Lanka , where Australia are cruising home , to see Wood take two in an over ...

Changed this game rather quickly ! Pakistan were going well , apparently. But that will set them back a bit.

Do like the look of Wood . Just hope he can stay relatively injury free.

Two in three balls from Wood though, grabs the reins, and wrests control of the direction of the game.

If any Pakistan player is going to get into the team of the series, maybe it's Sarfraz (for Stokes or Morgan?)
