Another wicket from nowhere from Ali. If batsman learn to respect him, you make him redundant in an attack, but as I said the over before, Shafiq played a risky shot, and then Azhar played a pretty poor stroke to him.

TBH Ali does get helped from the fact Broad/Anderson are so economical and in this summer Woakes has bowled well so the only runs can be scored from Stokes/Ball/Finn/Ali.

If they don't attack ali or score runs from him pakistan will struggle to score more than 2.5 run an over considering they can not destroy Anderson/Broad and Woakes has done well this summer.

only really Finn or Ali provide runs for pakistan.

like I said all summer England will miss Broad and Anderson when their both go since they can keep runs down and be a wicket taking threat even in the most docile wicket.

Funny part of all this is that hales is sledging while averaging 18 and probably not going to be in the test team for long.

Going all the way to specifically find the third umpire and question him is very different to what Jimmy did, there is zero reason for players to be interacting with the third umpire during the game.

not sure how it is different to Anderson since he did talk to the umpire and clearly pushed the mark for Cook to tell him to apologise and Anderson him self said he pushed the mark.

Strange, I'd have thought the difference between reacting in the moment while on the field of play and going out of your way to find an umpire off the field of play after the event would be fairly self evident.
