Did they take an early lunch when the rain came?

Just realised they are still playing 20 mins into the scheduled lunch break.

Woakes seems to have developed a very nice bouncer.

Or nasty. Depending on the point of view.

Along with the extra pace. He certainly looks a different bowler from Oval 2013

And Woakes/ Root strike again on the stroke of lunch ! Top morning's work :clap

Fantastic from England today, surely we will enforce the follow on when it happens given there is some weather around and we've hardly bowled much today?

I think England will bat again today to give the bowlers a rest and start again tomorrow morning. After all it's only day 3 and this wicket is still a batsman's wicket and fresh bowlers with the new ball is a better idea.
