[Aidan11]

Looks like they'll get one more in.

[Arthur Crabtree]

No further loss. England well on top.

[Aidan11]

Time to concentrate on the footy.

[Durhamfootman]

not the rugby?

[Slipstream]

Woakes was given an opportunity to use these good bowling conditions and hasn't disappointed. Nice to see Cook or whoever not just going to Jimmy automatically as in the past.

The plan was to bowl Anderson from the Nursery End, which he hates, but hearing the commentators saying he is bowling at the wrong end they decided to try it. So he had to wait until Broad finished his spell. After much muttering about the footholes and not getting his line right he only bowled 4 overs After lunch he was back to the PE. Finn only got 2 overs before he was whipped off when the new ball was taken. I thought Finn should have had another couple of overs taking the new ball.

Pavilion End- lbws and bowled
Nursery End- nicks to slips

A few years ago Broad also liked the Pavilion End until he took a load of wickets at the Nursery End. We could have had three bowlers who liked that end. Very impressed with Woakes who was happy to bowl either end.

Don't expect to see much more cricket in this test.

is the weather that bad in London? I didn't think that was allowed

The forecast is very unpromising, although there maybe occasional windows where play can take place.

[Durhamfootman]

will Cook bat, do we think?

[Arthur Crabtree]

Early lunch.

Cook fit to bat.
