What exactly is he over, he's only one year older than Plunkett, better average, better RR per over.

With so much cricket going on this year I would imagine he's got a reasonable chance in T20 and ODI games. Surely they will want to keep Jimmy and Broad for test matches. Although from a selfish angle I'd rather Warwickshire have him full time.

The only reason I can imagine he is in SA is to be on standby in case there are injuries in the WC squad, so there may be a notional chance of him playing again. But when Anderson was pulled out the SL tour, they made do with a player less rather than call Boyd up. I get the impression Flower didn't like the look of him in Australia last winter.
