England can't complain they haven't had any lucky breaks this week...

Smith back as skipper and wins the toss...bats.

All pace for England so need to be on the ball today. Probably best choice , though one always feels a little anxious going in without a spinner.

Let battle commence...

That is a big out.

I read someone saying this is a McGrath treading on the ball big. Maybe, but I think Neser should have a good test.

Nugget Rees was looking pretty old and frail.

Neser is certainly coming off a good match against the England Lions. Should be confident so a good time for him to debut.

Warner really digging in. Has a very un-Warner like scoring rate, but he's doing the job, soaking up the pressure, taking the shine off the new ball and tiring out the England bowlers. They've blown two reviews already trying to bag him.

England managed 17 overs in 80 minutes. You'd think they'd have learned from the last test, but apparently not.

Oh, and you really can't keep missing chances.

That said, no one in the England side has the graft Marnus has shown. They'd all have been out flashing ages ago rather than battled to 50 in two sessions.

Just seen Buttler's second drop. Surely England have a better keeper than Buttler? It's not as if he scores lots of runs to compensate.
