Windies make 154-6 at stumps...not the most impressive start to the tour. Not one half-century from the bunch of them...Kraigg out for 21, Chandrika for 10, Samuels for 19, Blackwood for one, Ramdin for a duck, and Holder for 26. At least Lil Bravo is 49 not out....

This weak CA side continues to outplay the tourists...Lil Bravo topscored with 51, and Carlos made 47, while Simon Milenko, a medium pacer with only three FC games under his belt, has taken a five-fer.
But our bowlers struggle to get any of the "swing" that the Aussie bowlers got, and once again the WIndies are facing embarrassment. Carder, a 19 year old with no FC matches, hit 58, and there were 40s for a couple of others, as the CA side overhauled the WI total for the loss of only four wickets. Holder has taken two wickets so far, while Roach, Gabriel and Bishoo go wicketless. It really does seem that Roach has regressed....

This is going to be a 3-0 pasting, and plenty of opportunities for the Aussies to fill their boots and their already over-inflated averages.

Seriously, does anyone thing that Warner, Smith and Voges are better than Hayden, Ponting and Waugh? They've got better averages, thanks to the flat Australian pitches and piss-weak bowling attacks they've had to face over the last few years, especially from touring sides. They hardly ever have to bat in tricky conditions or against decent bowling attacks.

Peirson, Short and Bazley (who?) hit half-centuries as the CA team rattle up 444, while our most successful bowler is Holder with 4-76. Carlos took two wickets, while Roach, Gabriel and Bishoo laboured to get one wicket each....

So, what happened when we batted a second time? Kraigg, Chandrika, Lil Bravo, Samuels, Blackwood and Ramdin all get out for next to nothing. The top score is 31, by Carlos.

I thought the Windies had recovered well in the first innings until the Aus XI batted. This looks like a hard series for them.

What an embarrassment! Holder hit 65, and there were 30s for tailenders Carlos and Roach, but the rest of the display was pitiful...beaten by 10 wickets, by grade cricketers.
