Rishabh gets another single of the edge. Having said that, have seen before that he suddenly drives home the advantage after a struggling start. Hope we see that again from Rishabh today.

Axar bowled 20 (18). Not his fault. He stil can contribute wit the ball being the allrounder. Atleast he made a partnership rather than hiding in the dugout. He has saved SKY who has a very bad technique in tough conditions and hence demoted. SKY has to make the best of this now. He couldn't have asked for more support from the captain. Today is the test of Indian batsmen not batting on flat wickets of IPL where 250 plus were scored thrice and massive totals were scored for fun.

Rohit knows his players well. His gamble of saving SKY has worked 50% so far. SKY has a nice shots against spinners, inside out over covers, slog sweep, down the wicket and should make this total stronger against spin attack of Imad and Iftikhar which is below average.

Three successive fours. Rishabh seems to be doing the expected. :dance

Reverse sweep by Rishabh over the short third man. :clap Well executed, otherwise this would have looked silly. Needless to say that execution is so important than having the ability and deciding to play a particular shot. Would have got a lot of stick getting out like that in India-Pak match with fielder positioned for a mis-hit in that area.

Gets out to pacer Haris Rauf. Easy catch at mid-off without having to move. 7 from 8 balls even though captain tried to make as easy as possible for him. Rubbish innings.

India 89/4 in 11.2 overs.

This is not a batting wicket for sure. Virt , Rohit, SKY, Rishabh , Shivam Dubey were scoring runs for fun during IPL. So India are still very much in this, especially against Pakistan batting lineup. But a decent score needs to be put by in remaining 8 overs.

In Pakistan batting we have always believed and more often than not the collapse comes through. :) So i am hopeful that although this is a disappointing performance by Indian batting unit as a whole.

Shivam out for 3 from 9 balls. Another IPL superstar of the year. And this is not even the opening phase where batting was tough. Can't beleive we have Yashasvi warming the bench and lesser talented batsmen are playing ahead of him. Still very old school and poor team selections.

Forget it Jake, it's Chinatown. Who knows what a winning score is in New York?

96/6 in 14.1 overs. Pakistan bowlers have done well. This has been a very poor batting performance by the batting lineup as a whole. Atleast Rishabh scored msot.

Sir Jadeja gets a golden duck.

96/7. This is pathetic. Still trust more in Pakistan batting that in our team to win this tonight.

17 years of IPL, the so labelled best domestic T20 league in the world. Take out pocket sized grounds and add better conditions for bowlers and the result has been there to see for 17 years since this IPL started. When will team India prove that IPL is the best. Is it going to take 19 years to win a T20i cup after IPL was started. Selection bias likely to get exposed this time as well. The seniors like Rohit, Virat, Jaddu should have been out of this 2 years back itself. Same old players who cannot contribute in important matches as well as finals of 50 and 20 overs tournaments. Same story this WC too, i am afraid.
