Can't see it being purpose considering Pakistan have actually looked quite professional so far in the tour and have backed and defend amir on this tour.
guessing the actual reason is that pakistan just are awful slip catchers, generally sub C teams are not that great in slip catches.

I would have dropped him after the Sri Lankan series and I'm a biased Hants supporter plus we need him back at his club.

He was never going to make it at this level and now we're wasting time in bedding someone else in, not that I know who that someone is.

T20 and ODI is another matter entirely, where I think he could do well.

Talking about no balls on SKY as Wahab can't stop bowling them, reminds me of a Quick bowler talking on the radio recently, saying that he tends to judge where he is from his relationship to the stumps rather than his run up, so moving his mark back 6" wouldn't necessarily avoid bowling a no ball.
