Bangladesh had a narrow two wicket win over Sri Lanka.

That match could decide one of the group qualifiers.

Got that right ! TBH England were very little chance after conceding 201 ; but they were still theoretically in the game until Zampa came on. He took out both openers and no one coming in was able to really get started against him so always two or three overs behind.

It is t20 so anything can happen on another day. But I am not confident England will come back from this much better than they did in the Fifty over WC. May not even get out of the group unless they can lift that NRR !

I think it's becoming clear that the 50 over WC was not an aberation and Mott and Buttler just isn't working. There seems to be a lot of muddled thinking going on. Wee Davey's eyes must have lit up when Jacks came on to bowl ahead of Archer.

As it stands, England need to replace Wood with Topley and Jacks with somebody else, and Buttler needs to ignore any 'gut calls' he gets

Oh lordy....... Uganda!

That's the sort of game where, if it had been England, the heavens would have opened with Uganda on 19-5 after 4.4 overs and they would have walked away with a no result point

Hosein took 5-11 as the West Indies crushed Uganda by 134 runs!

Poor leg stump hit-me ball by Shaheen gets the wicket of Rohit.

Both wickets of Virat and Rohit have been due to bad shot execution. India 19/2.

Hope we are done with this opening issues which hasn't won any world cup for us over the years. Surely an in form Yashasvi who is young needs to be in playing 11.

Worse is that Axar Patel has come over SKY. Not that SKY has a good technique to negotiate tough conditions, but certainly he is specialist. Maybe the think tank wants two lefties but this is clueless.

24/2 in 4 overs. Luckily we haven't lost more wickets considering that it has rained and also the fact that how flawed technique Rohit and Virat has against left arm seamers. Not as bad as expected.

Another dropped catch of the over. This was tougher and Rishabh survives again.

Rishabh is batting cluelessly and clearly not getting middle of the bat leading to poorly executed shots although the intent is refreshing to see. 2 dropped catches and lucky four missing the slips.

50/2 in 5.5 overs.

50/2 in 6 overs looks better. Pakistan have given away the advantage of bowling first against batsmen weak against left armers, more so in rainy conditions. The runs through edges and dropped chances have helped this pair of Rishabh and Axar take India to this good position.

I thought they would select a better spinner than Iftikhar. Pakistan too are playing luck with their selections

57/2 in 7 overs.

India is back in match :ind:
