in other news Michael holding is leaving Sky after this game so this will be his last test for sky.
looks like he is leaving because he doesn't like the way cricket is being run.
mentioned 2 yrs ago that he wasn't going to renew his sky contract since he hates watching cricket at the moment and the cricket administrators makes his blood boil.

Going to miss him destroy the WICB board next year, some of the best viewings are when he attacks administrators.

Seems odd that he would give up a well paid job like that. Wonder if he has something lined up.

poor over rates again, but guessing scorers are going to say it was good enough.
although morning session is always quite slow, hopefully the full 90 overs are bowled.

4 wickets and that 5 minutes they wasted on hales dismissal

Plus no spin overs and several stoppages due to people moving by the sight screen

They will struggle to get 90 in

Looks like England have decided to play all their best cricket on days three to five again.

Haven't a clue about the conditions at the toss but I guess you would nearly always opt to bat first at the oval.

James Vince better hope for a 100 in the 2nd innings, or you feel he has played his last test match in a while.

So Holding after earning much gold over the years when cricket has hardly changed, in his parting words rubbishes the hand that fed him. From what he's now saying if he had any principles he'd have resigned years ago.
Work expands to fill the time available, so why do today what can be put off until tomorrow.
