Also why do people think they will continue to honor these TV deals they have signed? Sure it looks like the have mortaged their future. But if they dont honor contracts with players, why would they honor any contract?

Thats the level that Barcelona are at now....

well, they've registered the players after selling off another 25% of something or other to raise £84 million, but have they paid for the players yet? Lewandowski and Raphinha cost 10 million more than that, I think

I tuned into the Union game last night with some trepidation. Away in Berlin to a team undefeated in 7 games this season, and fresh of a draw away to Bayern Munich in a match they should have won, Union were given some pretty hefty odds coming away with even a point, let alone 3...!!!

But in a first half were both teams struggled in a scrappy affair, it was Boniface who had the only moment of quality, shifting into space and putting the perfect pass for Lynen to score. And then after a half where Berlin threw the kitchen sink and bathroom sink at us, we somehow managed to hold on for a win.

A special victory!!! And out of nowhere, a potential chance to get out of the group..... really looking forward to the match next week at home, if we can beat Malmo, the impossible job is on.

And if we dont? Well, when I discovered this little club at the end of my road when I moved to Brussels 5-6 years ago, if you'd told me we'd be playing in the Europa League at this stage, I'd have told you to see a shrink. Its been a fun journey, and I am buzzing about just seeing them play in Europe. If we get beat 6-0, who cares. Everyone at the club should be proud of what they have achieved in such a short space of time.

Not sure if Yuppie has any affiliation to his local club? I wanted to actually go to the Malmo away game, excuse for a journey back to Oslo to meet up with people, but the date doesnt work.

I see that Union have gone top of the bundesliga for the first time in their history

early days, of course, but it all counts

keep your fingers crossed that they can stay injury free between now and then.

extra time seemingly

usually that gets recorded as 105 mins rather than 90 + 15

no draws?

3/3 for union.....the Europa knockouts are so close....

The dream of getting beat by 7-0 on aggregate by arsenal in the second round continues!!

I mean that literally... considering the first match I went to there was 20 people there, the idea of playing a big club and being thrashed is literally amazing
