One of those seasons included a double promotion, but still a fine achievement noneoftheless.

There seems to be a number of small sized European teams on a meteorical rise of sorts. Makes you wonder whether is a phase or a start or the footballing geography is changing?

Great guy off the field, lots of stories like this. It's a crazy figure, the same as some Governments.

Keeps his ego on the field.

I am sure all of you watched it anyway, but the Tromsø v Vålerenga 4-5 thriller match yesterday was the best match I think I have seen since..... the 5-5 playoff final the night before.

Not that anyone cares, but since old Martin left for Real Madrid's B team, Stroemsgodset look pants. I miss him already..... give him back damn greedy Real stealing him!! He was the only player in the league that had anything close to ball control!!

21 year old Emanuel Ortega has been killed in an Argentinian B Division match after losing an innocent shoulder to shoulder challenge, and suffered a double fracture to the head when he crashed into a concrete wall at the front of the stand.....

All football in Argentina suspended for the next week to pay respects.

Interestingly also, he once posted the following post on Twitter..... clearly died doing what he loved.

"Perhaps I won't ever play football professionally," he wrote. "Maybe I will, or maybe as an amateur, but when I go for each ball I am going to die, when my legs say STOP, my heart says CONTINUE.

"The difference between me and professionals is that when my boots break, I don't change them, I spent all night tidying them up and gluing them back together so I can play again because it is what I love.

"Football is my LIFE, not only a past-time, it is what makes me forget everything else, and I will give my life for it.

"The day that I can't play anymore, that is where my life ends."
