My home town team can clinch promotion to the second tier of non league football with a win today. Don't believe they have been as high as this in their 136 year history. They were the team that Charlie Austin moved to Swindon from. He had trials at Bournemouth but they couldn't sign him due to a transfer embargo at the time.

Poole Town, they play in the Southern Premier League, the Champions get automatic promotion to National League South. They're currently 2-0 up with 20 minutes to play, and ironically could well replace an old team of mine who I used to go and watch when I lived there, Havant & Waterlooville.

As an aside Havant & Waterlooville's current manager is Bournemouth's last but one manager, Lee Bradbury!

Havant & Waterlooville's game today at the bottom of National League South was away to St Albans who are also in the relegation mire on the same number of points. The current score is 6-0 to St Albans!!

Cheltenham Town win promotion to the Football League at the first attempt by becoming Conference Champions. Not an easy league do it in given it's virtually full-time and many ex league clubs are suckered in.

Well if Fifa can still be bribed by then i would not rule it out, specially if they can host the World Cup then. South Korea springs to mind for this
