What is yet to be established is who made the complaint which led to his arrest and what was their motivation? I seem to remember in the Graham Rix case it was the girl's father.

Just watched the docu-film Next Goal Wins.

It was about American Samoa's attempt to qualify for the WC finals in Brazil. AS had been on the wrong end of the worst score in international history (31-0 to Australia) and had never won a game going into this qualifiaction. They hired a Dutch coach to try and turn things around.

It was quite impressive.

When did Sky Sports get the rights to show live MLS games?

Thought it was just BT Sport showing them.

I do have a lot of sympathy for him but haven't found anything that says he has apologised for involving an innocent party in his suicide attempt. Perhaps he has privately I don't know.

it suggests he has asked to be released from his contract with immediate effect , but adds he is "expected to take some time away from the game"

wouldn't be surprised to see him at city next season tho
