Cant see it, but would be interested to see him as a manager. Just wonder if his ego could take starting with a team in the lower leagues. Or is he maybe letting QPR know that when Harry's done he can step up?

He was an intelligent reader of the game as a player, and when he is not being an absolute prat he can be a decent analyser of the game too..... not sure he has the personality to step into management though, I find him a bit arrogant and childish tbh.

Rio has a huge amount of experience at the top level. He does not alway come accross well, and he might not make a good manager just because he was a great player. But it would be interesting to see. Im sure a club will give him a chance at least due to his profile. Just hope he does not get a big club straight away, and that he starts smaller and works his way up. He still has to pass his badges, but i guess hes letting people know he might go into management.

I guess it can only be good to see another black manager after recent debate.... personally I would like to see G-Nev step into management, I think he talks about the game better than anyone I have heard in England out the media.

Steve Bruce & Mark Hughes have plenty of managerial experience but even they wouldn't be a success at Man Utd IMO.

Just because Rio once played for them doesn't mean he could manage them. Even Giggs found out just how difrficult a job it was and that was just four games.

G Nevill seems like he would be a good manager. Talks sense and has the ability to explain the game well. Not sure he wants to go into management though.

Giggs im not so sure will be a success, maybe trying to follow Dalglishs record of player and coach?

Bruce and Hughes seem to be doing OK of late, but i agree not United standard. I guess not many can be.

I hope Southgate does become a top manager. Of all the young managers coming through at present, not to many seem to be English at the top level.

There's a rumour going around that Roy Keane has shaved his beard off.

Surely not.

And so he should be, an utterly stupid thing to say.

Bare in mind that Rio is on Greg Dykes FA Commission and is suppose to be a role model.

Yes but if this was the ECB, links would maybe be made between speaking out in support of Sterling and then being fined for something else the next day?

Has anyone read any of the price of football stuff?

The barca tickets surprised me.

I am slightly annoyed at the beeb's self-indulgent ten things that we have learned but which aren't actually ten things.

Barca prices are very reasonable. When i saw them vs Atletico in the 2013 Spanish Super Cup final, it was only around £16. It was the top tier but you still got an excellent view.

Indian footballer Peter Biaksangzuala has died from the injuries he suffered as he landed awkwardly while celebrating a goal.

The 23-year-old damaged his spinal cord doing a somersault after scoring an equaliser for Bethlehem Vengthlang FC against Chanmari West FC.

Biaksangzuala was taken to hospital and had surgery, but passed away.
