Ex-Liverpool legend, expect to see him replace someone on football coverage soon despite having negative amounts of Charisma.

Personally, I think he should open a service for Liverpool nightclub attendes, where they pay him a small sum to beat up DJs when they play music that is not agreeable with their personal tastes.

No charisma and nothing to say.

And when he does speak, it's only ever something clichéd or bleeding obvious.

Any lower league club might be able to tempt him on the basis that he plays the odd game as well. Someone like MK Dons would do well to strike that deal up. We give you a job as manager to learn the trade, we get a Champions League footballer who will tear teams apart at that level.

I remember watching a Swansea v Brighton game in the mid-90s (by memory) when Jan Molby was about 40 odd, overweight, couldnt run..... he destroyed us though because he could pass a ball on a sixpence. I dont think I have ever seen a player at any level look like such a mismatch

They had former Liverpool midfielder Ince. That may have put them off!

Ill add him to the list of 90s Liverpool underachieving players then. Remember the "spice boys".... When multiple Liverpool fans tried to tell you Jason McAteer was the 90s version of Lionel Messi. Or Steve McManaman, the man who scored an incredible goal (might have been against Bolton) once and made a career on it.

Having said that, I think McManaman is actually remembered fondly at Real Madrid.

McManaman at least had the balls to go abroad and test his self (like Ince), which should make you a better player, or at least give you a broader knowledge of the game. That said, he had lots of ability, but never fulfilled it.

What will he most be remembered for, lifting the Champions League Trophy or dropping the Premier League Trophy?!

And McManaman is a half decent pundit.

The latter, because it was far more funny.

Indeed. I respect him for joining RM, especially with the quality of player around him at the time.

McManaman? Volley wasn't it?

He also scored a great solo effort against Celtic, when playing for Liverpool. Mind you that is like me saying I scored a great goal against the Aylesbury under 7's team!
