The Belgian police won't be happy. For the third night in 10, it will be tear gas and riots in Etangs Noir....shame, I'd have love to have a walk down there to soak up the celebrations

Spain didn't deserve to win it. First big shock of the knock outs

awful penalty taking from Spain. Judging by this tournament, a penalty taker would have to be mental to go for the bottom corners. I've been astonished how many of those have been saved. Very few seem to thump the ball into the back of the net these days. So many stuttering run ups. Perhaps it's the latest 'thing'. Lewandowski had 2 of those saved
Shearer was talking pens in '98. Batty said he'd take one despite never having taken a penalty in his life. While he was waiting for his turn he asked Shearer what he should do. Shearer told him, if in any doubt, hit it as hard you can straight down the middle. Between agreeing to do that and walking to the spot Batty changed his mind and decided to go for the top corner, didn't hit it right....... keeper saved it
decide... never change your mind....... hit it hard

Ronaldo dropped.
There are rumours that he has been trying to get portugal to ask to get the goal accredited to him that Bruno scored. If true that cant be good for team morale.

brave from the manager, because if Switzerland put Portugal out, he'll get the blame for not starting the winker
not often you see managers sticking their neck out

Portugal will start as favourites, but I wouldn't be surprised if Switzerland manage to turn them over

Arguably the hardest to pick of all QF.
Portugal will be better with out Ronaldo so will pick them

well, I've changed my mind about Switzerland. Portugal are playing very well and Switzerland haven't got a clue what to do about it. Portugal in complete control and looking as though they won't be finishing scoring any time soon. That first goal was a snorter

Ronaldo's only use now is if any of Portugal's games go to penalties. No way back into the team for him after that 45 minutes

Spot on!
Ronaldo should not start.
He should be a part of Plan B, if Plan A doesn't work.

Ramos has to start the next match ahead of Ronaldo.
Surely!
France and England must be concerned.
Portugal 5-1 Switzerland
Leao makes it 6-1!
