Getting ahead of yourself a bit there, mike. Man Utd are home and dry, but Newcastle still have some serious work to do yet. Goals have dried up, so it only takes a momentary lapse in concentration, or a soft penalty, or a dodgy VAR call and things could easily get sticky

Will be a good final if Newcastle can get past Southampton. First cup in 60 odd years! About time!

Looking as though Dyche will announced as Everton manager shortly

Gawd help him.

Still...... never feel sorry for a PL manager. No matter what happens they always end up leaving with trouser pockets stuffed full of money

They are masters of the niggly foul on the break, knowing the ref gives them a tolerance not afford to other people. Milner too just impedes opponents all the time. Those ones that usually are a booking, but are just on the edge.... just all match. It gives them the ability to shut down the break so much better.

the PGMOL have acknowledged that Fabinho should have been sent off in the FA Cup tie with Brighton for the challenge on Ferguson that saw the player leave the stadium on crutches. Instead both ref and VAR thought yellow was appropriate. Pretty much a studs up stamp on the achilles to stop the player homing in on goal. It's been months since this stuff was highlighted and the officials continue to let him get away with it.

The referees involved in not sending Fabinho off should be instantly dismissed from their jobs, and never work in football again. I say that seriously.... if you are happy to see tackles like that in the game without a red card, then you pose a danger to the safety of every single man on the pitch. An absolute f****** disgrace of a tackle.... he knows what he's doing too. Probably gutted he didnt shatter the guys leg into pieces like he intended.

How can anyone watch that and tell me referees are not corrupt or biased? I refuse to believe there is a shred of honesty in the referee thinking that was a yellow card. None... no competent person would think that. Its impossible!!!

God you've started me off again, I was raging after the game....

I would recommend watching Untold: Operation flagrant foul. Its about the NBA but it feels like it could cover every major sport.

Especially in the way now so many sports seem to push the individual ahead of the team. Something that has really come into football over the last 20 years.

oh crickey, no. My days of going to big events are long gone. I need peace and quiet now, not loads of hassle, stressful journeys and massive crowds

I was just singing a song that no-one up here has been able to sing since 1999..... well, apart from people who support teams that compete in the Johnstones paint trophy or the league one play off final

lets hope so. I can't see Forest overturning anything tonight. Could be a battering

At least the final is about a month away, I think, so Rashford has a bit of time to go off the boil

Oh crikey, it's going to be one of those days in the PL

Struggling Everton beat runaway leaders Arsenal 1-0

relegation zone Wolves thump LIverpool 3-0

Man Utd had to work their socks off to prevent Palace from coming away with a draw after Casemiro got sent off

In the late game, Newcastle scored in the 1st minute, had it disallowed in the 2nd minute and scored again in the 3rd :panic chaos!

Wilson does a podcast with Michail Antonio and predicted that he'd score in the 4th minute.... but was a minute out with his prediction
