In a game where only 3 points would do, at home to the second worst team in the league, Newcastle had a player sent off after 9 minutes :horse

they did take the lead in the second half through a scrappy penalty, but then threw it away with 10 mins to go

bottom of the league... no win in 14. Nobody in the history of the PL has survived a start like that

I wonder how they'll contrive to throw away a match where only 3 points will do, at home to the 3rd worst team in the league at the weekend?

Good game at Old Trafford last night. Utd were deserved winners imo.

What happened to Auba at Arsenal? got the big deal, and now looks like he's retired. He has been totally rubbish....

What was Odegaard doing for the penalty too... idiotic foul

I like Aubamayeng but he has been useless by all accounts for a while. Yes Odegaard was the hero then villain within minutes. Never go to ground as they say!

He had a couple of years where he was devastating, but signed a big deal that was it.

Grealish seems massively overrated. A big fish in a small pond. A superstar at Aston Villa but a waste of money at Manchester City.

Agree with you on that one Mike, massively overrated and massively over priced, and ridiculous short socks. I can't take any footballer wearing short socks seriously.

Another massively overpriced and overrated player is Lukaku. One good season at inter and worth 100 million? Don't Chelsea remember his multiple average seasons?

He should go back to Red Dwarf, worst miss of the season the other day.

Doesn't care, can't be bothered and seemingly misbehaving off the field now.

nice to see you back budget

I see that Newcastle, with half a sniff of a chance at a sneaky little 3 points against a Leicester side with all kinds of players out, on a poor run of form, having suffered an early exit in Europe, and then hampered by losing a player to a hamstring injury minutes into the game forcing a reshuffle in defence, managed to slide to a 4-0 defeat

put to the sword

Been stripped of the captaincy now. Will be on his way out of the club soon I reckon.

Won't be going anywhere on that deal. No one is paying him anywhere near what he's on....rot in the reserve's just like ozil

Arsenal don't learn from giving 29 year olds massive deals

There are a lot of clubs at different levels who have bought players at an older age who are just sitting out their contracts. Forest are throwing 50,000 a week at 2 players who are showing no interest in even offering anything to the team. Going forward though i think these contracts for many clubs will be a thing of the past.

In comparison though Forest also have 2 older players getting payed well who are still contributing in a big way. Always a risk when signing older players who are supposedly at their peak.

All but one match called off in the premier league due to coronavirus.

Good to hear from you, budget, I hope you are keeping safe.

Newcastle get another 4 goal thumping. They were already conceding an average of 2 goals a game, I think, but they've conceded another 11 goals in the last 3 matches
