Mings is the weak link imo. Played ok today but Croatia had nothing up front. Phillips was very good. Not seen much have him before.

I was worried about MIngs, but he did okay in this match. Phillips was POM for me. Lots of energy and drive... everything that Henderson isn't.... including fit

Second Czech goal was indeed fantastic. Felt for the Scots as they had been pressing hard and nearly scored once or twice just before Schick unleashed that bombshell...rather took the wind out of their sails.

Though they still had more chances later they just couldn't put away. Suppose the law of averages says they are now sure to score against England on Friday

How modern keepers play. High defensive line, he's there to intercept the ball if the pass to the goal scorer is overhit. I am never a fan of this tactic, but everyone does it

I doubt he's expecting to be inch perfect lobbed from 50 yards, mind.

Alfie summed up the game pretty well. Felt like Scotland had a few chances and then that knocked the wind out them. The QPR lad, Dykes, had a shocker...his opposite number scored one of the best goals ever in tournament football.
