Shocking display by the Barcelona stars. Messi, Pique and Bus quets were poor. Coutinho was the best Barcelona player on the pitch.

Don't think you can blame Messi. He had an ok game....he can't defend for his team....and neither can his team defend on their own

Pique, Vidal and busquets are totally done. And the way Barcelona's deep midfield smash long balls to Suarez, they still think he's 21 and not ready for the knackers yard

Aside from fasu who got 5 minutes at 7-2, Messi who's out of contract soon and won't sign, and the young Dutch lad De Jong, I don't think many Barcelona fans would be too distraught to never see a single one of these players again

Long road back for Barcelona. They really are a poor side now.

No doubt they will spend 150 mill on another failure of a winger and leave their defence to be terrible for another season

I think everyone is to blame there. Certainly a lack of leadership from all of Barcelona's senior players.

There is something obviously wrong at Barcelona not helped by an ageing team who just seemed to give up in the end. Not that they were really in the contest at anytime.

It seems as good as any time to start again. Burn it down and build again.

Bayern shown their hand to early..........

I fail to see how a team concede 8 goals and it's the false nine who has to take responsibility. Just before Bayern scored the second, Messi bends in a wicked ball that Vidal comically misses the ball when it's easier to score, ball clatters off the post, Bayern get away with it and then score 3 goals in like 7 odd minutes. After hitting the post the commentator says "Messi is looking brilliant so far"....then less than 10 minutes if clown defending later, games over

People will question his attitude, his commitment.....it's like an opening batsman who's consistently facing the scoreboard of 90/9 thinking what's the hell of blocking when we need another 200 runs.

I think I'd be equally frustrated. The guy is a master among a crapheap, and if you watch Barca a lot, it's the same every week.

The only person people attack? Him. They lose 3-4 and he scores a hattrick, it's about the pass he missed, or the shot he hit the post on.

I hope he leaves. He's too good a player to be wasting the end of a glittering career with this bunch of no hopers.
