When we went to watch England vs Germany last year, we had to give three cheers to the players after they had lost and played poorly. I found it patronising tbh. They played crap and deserved criticism.

I'd forgotten there was a match on last night

England were bright in the first half, seemingly, but played really badly in the second half and lost to a late unmarked header from a corner.

From what I've read, Nobbs had a good game and Parris was sparky on the right, but the rest seem to have had a poor match

Dead chuffed Australia and New Zealand won the hosting of the women's World cup. I'll be taking BFL junior along.

Not sure why UEFA bloc voted for the lower ranked bid :x

Which grounds will they use? The big MCG type or smaller ones?

Arsenal hammering Reading.

Reading aren't the worst team in the league but there is a massive difference in quality.

Durham Wildcats have made a flying start to the season. They are currently unbeaten and sitting top of the women's championship. Scoring goals for fun atm

Of course, if they were to finish the season in first place, they'd probably be relegated instead of promoted for not being rich enough

With Coronavirus stripping a lot of money from the game, I can see womens football suffering quite dramatically. One only has to look at the table, with Arsenal smashing in 30 goals in 4 games, to see a pretty noticeable gaps even in the small Premier League between the top power teams, and those woman's sides that coming from lower league teams. Bristol for instance have been annihilated this season.

not great as a spectacle to have such a massive gap in quality in such a small league.

I thought you were joking there, SP, but no..... 29 goals in 5 games :o

Money bags City sign up every England player and are floundering mid table.... doesn't bode well for the international side (although they do have the bravest, bestest manager in the world, so doubtless he'll be like a 12th player for them) when they can't even cut it at domestic level

Chelsea were the big spenders.... shattering the world transfer record with a 250,000k signing of some Danish lady.

I am not joking with that either.

I thought the Durham wildcats had stuffed up today when they only managed a draw with lowly Charlton, but Sheff Utd lost to Liverpool, so the wildcats go back to the top of the table

the bestest, cleverest manager in world football has left his role as England manager

that's a shame.... I'm surprised they let him slip through their fingers :coat

what a tool he was

Durham wildcats lost their top of the table clash at home to Leicester today. Their first defeat of the season. Hard to see anyone other than Leicester going up this year. Probably just as well, because Durham would be completely outclassed in the WSL and might not be rich enough to be allowed to go up anyway even if they were to finish top
