Switched of at the end. Englands real weakness is at the back.

In hindsight should have kept Sterling on and carried on attacking.

Should never have taken Rooney off.

2-0 up yes but I reckon he got cocky. Like Alf Ramsey in 1970.

Need more firepower up front, Lallana and Sterling aren't going to score, and Alli never got as far forward as he usually does. Left to Kane who had an average game.

On the plus side this isn't disasterous.

Has any team ever won a major international trophy with a weak defence.........never.

It is, because that is as well as we are going to play in the whole tournament, and we can't put away a poor Russian side.

England created more than enough chances. They played well. Kick in the guts at the end.

They did, but didn't have anyone who could stick the ball in the net. Lack of firepower.

Milner was responsible for the goal, now there's a surprise.

Kane had a shocker up front. And Lallana and sterling cant finish. But they do offer a lot. Not sure England can play 2 up front in this tournament.

Was anyone really that surprised?

I know I wasn't. I'm not even cross about it. As soon as Milner came on I knew we were going to start with a draw... again... as we always do.

and as ever, budget is bang on.... if we can't put away a poor Russian side when we are playing the best we've played in a very long while, then we might as well pack it in and come home

Thought we played really well but with the defence we have we can't try and defend a 1-0 lead. Have to try and push the opposition back. Still, plenty of positives to take and hopefully Roy will have learnt from it.
