Does the owner ever go to the games Aidan? Doing a blackpool? Owner taking out as much as he can get whilst the club is still going.

Yeah he goes to games. A few weeks ago he said there would be a big announcement in January that would blow our minds.

Well it's mid-February and we're still waiting.

Sol Campbell being signed? The new Notts county...........

That will be the least of our problems though if our present owners are anything to go by.

A lot of teams down there struggling. Notts county goal difference might still have an impact on who goes down.

What have the current owners been doing?

Nothing. That's just it. It's a long story....

A recruitment firm from Essex took over a year or so ago with big promises.

Since then we find that we get regular winding up orders from the taxman which they always wait until the last minute to settle. The chairman - Gary Coxhall - borrows large sums of money which he says he is liable for but the agreements have appeared online and are quite clearly against the club. The loans are from Asset Management companies rather than the banks. When questioned about this he says that it would take too long to get finance from banks yet he was nit in a hurry for funds.

Coxhall was in partnership with an accountant called Peter Goldberg -a man with a dubious track record - this is traceable online. This man has since done a runner.

The original recruitment firm has gone bust and replaced by a company that owns the club but seems to have no other connection with anythingelse.

The owner has ambitions to buy our ground from the council. He also wants to improve it and build a new estate around it. As the area is pretty run down it would be like putting lipstick on a pig.

So the fans wonder why a small businessman from the other end of the country is interested in a constantly struggling lower league club.

This is only part of the story. Something stinks.

Do those loans come with a high level of interest and are issued by those who have a vested interest in Hartlepool?

Seems a couple of clubs in League One have relative short-term loans from random companies that come with high levels of interest. Having read how Bolton Wanderers have operated this season, a clubs revenue stream (Football League payments, Transfer Fees, Season Ticket revenue) could be used as security when these loans are issued and the interest payments are one way of making money.

Details of the loans are not known. Bizarrely one if the finance companies -Sage- had a connection with former premier League /Championship boss Dave Jones. It seems one of the conditions of the loan was to bring him into the club. He's now our manager and is doing no better than the last manager.

Henri Lansbury scores an amusing own goal against Newcastle, playing for Aston Villa.

Just desserts for his despicable actions when playing for Forest against Newcastle earlier in the season.

It seems the Steve McClaren revival at Derby is now finally over. Drawing at home in the local game to Burton.

Derby now 10 points outside the play offs. :hi

Burton still hanging on, 5 points clear of relegation. Clough still working some miracles there.

To much player power.

It was the players that pretty much got rid of Pearson, and who chose Steve to come back.

46 different infringements in the Newcastle penalty area for that corner, not sure how the referee can just pick one out and give a penalty.

I know they've clamped down this season, but it's still pot luck.

4-0 for us tonight.

I can't remember the last time we had a win as big as that.

Newcastle deserved to win that game, although they left it late.

What a ball from Ritchie to Atsu who laid on Perez for the second goal.

Both players at AFCB last season!

Feels like a really important victory. Especially the way we came from behind. As soon as the equaliser went in I thought we'd win, just because of how bizarre it was! On to another huge game on Saturday!

Starting to drool at the prospect now of my Chelsea-Newcastle-Sheff Utd-Doncaster-Tranmere accumulator coming off.
