Ref has gone card mad, a yellow for the keeper now.

Another penalty miss.

Another save.

What a game.

Can't see Newcastle holding out second half though down to 9 men.

The standard of refereeing in the Championship is appalling. Every week you get some nobody wanting to make a name for themselves.

Also the rule for red cards and penalties has changed. If it's not a deliberate foul then it isn't a red as it's a double punishment.

Also Jonjo Shelvey's 'foul' is off the ball and so should be a drop ball. But apart from that the ref is having a great game....

I reckon Newcastle need to see a Forest get sent off early in the second half, the way the ref's been going you can see him doing a balancing act.

Mancienne could be the target, Gayle could be the pne to get him a second yellow.

Actually just seen the second red card and penalty, actually the ref may have got that wrong too. Lansbury is a bit of a cvnt TBH.

His hair tells you everything you need to know about him...

Never thought I'd say this but Stuart Pearce is speaking a lot of sense!

I thought that, but I think the rule only applies to accidental fouls, deliberate ones are still reds.

Although in this case, Lansbury planted his leg and the defender couldn't stop in time, so accidental or not a foul at all.

Wasn't the ball still in play, so I guess he can give a penalty in that case.

Mind you it was a mess of feet, Lansbury kicked out first, Shelvey retaliated, but hardly touched him. Then a delay before Lansbury clutches his stomach and somehow performs two rollovers while stationery.

Where is Yuppie when you need some balance!

For a a few games Forest could not buy a decision.

And then in the last 3 games it seems the refs have decided to even everything up.

Also nice to see the forest youth players doing well. Lascelles and Darlow have been immense :rasta

Just had to pick the wife up, and back just in time for the second half. Sadly not getting a signal. :angry

If Forest can not turn this around, then this will be the new low of the season. A season of many lows.

1-1, this is only going one way sadly.

Another yellow card for Newcastle, the ref has gone bonkers.

Not sure why of late Forest have been getting all the decisions. The last 2 wins had as much to do with getting the rub of the green.

And now against the top team, we are lucky enough to play against 9 men for a half
